The feldspars have a yellowish color and form crystals of 3 to 4 mm, but can form aggregates of 10 mm.
Biotites are black and sometimes have brownish auricles of hydrated iron oxide around them. The average size is 2 to 3 mm, but some crystals reach 4 to 5 mm.
